At De Metz Investigations, my mission is to conduct confidential, impartial, and reliable pre-employment background investigations for California law enforcement agencies.  Background investigations adhere to the standards set by the California Commission on Peace Officer Standards and Training (POST).  I ensure an ethical and timely work product, thus allowing agencies to better utilize their personnel.  I am a retired command staff-level police officer and bring a wealth of real-world law enforcement experience with a firsthand understanding of today’s hiring and retention challenges. I also partner with retired, executive-level law enforcement background investigators who assist me as needed, which allows me to scale to meet your hiring demands.
